SIA CRYOGENIC AND VACUUM SYSTEMS (CVS) was established in 2014.

We are involved in dozens of Scientific Research projects individually and in cooperation with:
   European Space Agency
   Riga Technical University
   University of Latvia:
        - Institute of Atomic Physics and Spectroscopy
        - Institute of Solid State Physics
   Ventspils University of Applied Scienses
   Latvian Maritime Academy
   Rezekne Academy of Technologies

CVS is a member of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Latvian Refrigeration Engineers Association, the Swedish Vacuum Society

CVS is a participant in a lot of European Comission, ESA, ERDF and Latvian programs:
- In 2018 European Comission awarded CVS by Seal of Excellence.
- In 2017 CVS was awarded the Horizon 2020 SME phase I prize.

Engineers and specialists in vacuum and cryogenics, robotics, aerospacee and mechanical engineering, electronics are working in our team. Among us are 7 doctors and 4 masters of technical sciences.

Packing of sublimated product

Packing

We developed a special packing for sublimated products
The packing may be customized (incl. size) and branded

Sublimated ice cream

Triple Point

The quality of sublimation depends on maintaining the quality of Low Pressure – it must stay under the Triple Point to keep Ice to Vapor transition and avoid Ice to Water and Water to Vapor transitions.

Freeze drying sublimation power consumption

Power consumption

The mode of the sublimating chamber may be adjusted in wide range:
- from focus on Power economy
- to focus on Maximum quality of the sublimated product

European components for food sublimation chambers

European Components

All system components, such as sensors, pumps, vacuum gauges, refrigeration units, are made in Europe by Europeans (Germany, France, Slovenia).
